3-D Drifting: Discontentment - Episode 152

3-D Drifting: Discontentment – Episode 152

As I’m recording today’s episode, I can hear the wind raging outside. It makes me feel a little unmoored…a little untethered. And it makes me think of today’s concept: discontentment.

It’s a tool that Satan uses against us time and time again. According to Napoleon Hill, drifting is “the process through which the devil controls the souls of mankind.” He accomplishes this through “lack of purpose, confusing ideas, excess, and fear.”

Today we’re looking at Hosea and his ever-discontented wife, Gomer. If that sounds like a strange place to go for applying Biblical truth to your business, consider this:

Gomer was never satisfied. Although Hosea lovingly provided for her, and faithfully served her, it was never enough. She sought out others who she thought would fulfill her and satisfy her needs her way. But, friends, how often do we do that? It’s what happens to us when we’re living in the “castle of pride” described in the Spiritual Strongholds blog post I’ve referenced in this series. Gomer’s pride corrupted her heart and led her away from the Lord’s best for her life. And the same is true for us when we drift in discontentment.

Ouch, right?

Listen in as we go deep on discontentment! And be sure to download your 4 Keys guide too!
