A Scripture that Feels Like A Punch To The Gut

Ever have a scripture feel like a punch to the gut?

This one – ouch! Yet it reminds us that while we worship God, seek God and listen to God, the last important step is to obey God. And that means taking action.

In the 90-Day Mission Planning zoom for my Rooted Group Coaching members earlier this month, there was a theme among these high-achieving business women of faith: I know what to do but I…

👉🏻Procrastinate
👉🏻Overthink and never act
👉🏻Fall short of implementing
👉🏻I’m afraid it won’t be perfect, enough, etc.

The outcry for accountability in being obedient to act was loud and clear, and it got me thinking.

How often do we God-centered entrepreneurs not take action?

🤦🏼‍♀️Or we take some action but not all the way?

🤦🏼‍♀️Or we take our idea of action, but aren’t obedient to God’s instruction?

🤦🏼‍♀️Or we take the action, but let it consume us until we think we still haven’t done enough?

Friend, God is waiting for you to take the action He gave you. And so are those He’s aligned for you to impact in your business.

I hear some of you saying, “But I don’t know the action to take!” Make time to ask God for His wisdom today. I promise He will honor your prayer!

Or “What if this action I think is the right next step isn’t where God wanted me to go?” If God is truly your guide, He’s just like your GPS: you can’t tell which way he wants you to go until you take a step.

Oooo this gives me chills thinking of the action I haven’t taken. I’d better get to work!

Will you join me in taking action today? DM me your next step and I’ll share mine with you too!
