Are you armored up for spiritual battle in your business?
As a business owner, there will be moments of isolation, discouragement, distraction and doubt. It comes with the territory when you’re walking out God’s assignment and pursuing success His way.
Because daily you’re struggling “against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12).
So being armored up is means wearing all pieces of the armor of God so you’re protected as you confront the enemy. It’s necessary – vital to your mission really – because “you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.” (Ephesians 6:13)
Here’s what it takes…
🥋 The Belt of Truth: putting your full trust in God’s truth, how He defines and directs you, more than your own thoughts or the lies of the enemy.
✝️ The Breastplate of Righteousness: protecting your heart to keep it focused on Him.
🥾 Your feet fitted with the gospel of peace: to stand steady and ready for quick pivots.
🛡 The Shield of Faith: to protect you against the enemy’s fiery darts.
🪖 The Helmet of Salvation: protect your mind and your thoughts.
🗡 The Sword of the Spirit: the Word as your dagger for offense and defense, and fighting in close quarters.
That may seem like a lot of pieces to carry around, but you’re never carrying it alone. Make a daily discipline of staying close to the Lord and letting Him lead, and you’ll always be protected for the victory is won!
