Consistency in Action: Daily Discipline - Episode 139

Consistency in Action: Daily Discipline – Episode 139

Got a question for you: Are you willing to take consistent action even when it seems mundane? Even when it seems the seeds you plant aren’t sprouting?

Your answer may be a resounding “YES! But Erin, what exactly does consistency in action” look like?”

Listen in as we answer that question on today’s episode! And here’s a hint: it’s probably NOT what you think!  Look at it this way: WWJD as a business owner taking action? (actually, maybe this should read “what DID Jesus do”) He would (and did) put His Father’s direction into action with daily discipline like:

✅ Bookending His day with time with the Lord

✅ Praying before every interaction

✅ Asking for His Father’s direction for setting priorities so that His “to-do list” was mission-focused

And the same goes for us.

I love this quote from @stevenfurtick: “The impact of finishing is greater than the excitement of starting.” (I love it so much, I put it in my book!) Remember this as you embrace the discipline of being consistent. Because your consistency matters: It shows that you are trustworthy. It influences your customers and clients to do continued business with you and to refer you to their friends. It shows that you are enduring and unchanging in the work that you do.
