Develop – How God Stretches You – Ep 216

So often as we move through our business day in and day out, we overlook how the ups and downs develop us. The trials and triumphs play a key role in how God stretches and prunes us so we develop the fruit we’re meant to yield.

Every year in Maryland where I live, I see the landscapers in our townhome community prune the branches of the crepe myrtle trees, leaving them looking barren. Yet, I am always in awe of how the Lord springs them back to life, and they grow even more full and colorful because of that pruning.

This is exactly how God prunes us when He activates His promise to develop us into who he made us to be. And that’s what we’re talking about on today’s episode as we explore the 4th key of our 4 keys framework: Develop.
