Fruit for His Kingdom – maybe not the fruit we wanted

I am not a gardener or even good with growing flowers (like my friend and plant whisperer @_smn1028_ !), and I don’t know much about pruning times and all that. 🤣

But I have felt the pain of God’s pruning, and I’ll tell you, it’s never easy but it is necessary for my development.

The thing is, development is the best part of our Hustle with Heart journey because it means we’re growing. We’re applying all we learn along the way as He defines us, directs us and we put His assignment into action with our discipline. Every day in every way we are growing, even when it seems like we’re not. And as Jesus tells us in these verses, that pruning is clearly connected to us producing MUCH fruit.

Not just some fruit. MUCH fruit.

Fruit for His Kingdom – maybe not the fruit we wanted, or the fruit someone else has (definitely not that because each of us has our divine assignment), but fruit that impacts more than just us.

So tell me, do you remember a time you could feel His pruning? Would you share it for all of us to celebrate? (yes I said celebrate!) Because when we rejoice in each other’s development, our development is richer all the while!
