God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference

SERENITY Now!

Ever see the @seinfeldtv where George’s dad is responding to almost everything by yelling, “SERENITY NOW”? I don’t know about you but there are definitely moments in my business that I feel like doing the same! Anyone else? 🙋🏼‍♀️

But what is this serenity we speak of and why does it seem so elusive to us? Serenity isn’t a word we use often, though it is the total package of being calm, peaceful, tranquil or unruffled. And in my own journey, and working with my clients who are ambitious business women of faith, it is the feeling we most want to experience as we work. Yet we feel it’s impossible to have serenity and work hard. As if they two are somehow opposite. I call BS on that (yep, just said that). 🤭

Because when we make God our CEO and do the work He’s defined and directed, it is not the incessant working seemingly required by the world’s definition of success. We work hard from the standpoint of being in the center of His will, and we CAN find calm and peace, being unruffled as we respond (not react) to business challenges. 🙌🏻

Serenity says I am calm, peaceful and untroubled in running my business, with my priorities in the right order – God, family, business. And guess what? It is FREEING. Serenity breaks the chains of overwhelm. 🤯

So yes, we can work hard, be ambitious AND have serenity. Don’t wait for that freedom from overwhelm, overachievement and under fulfillment – the keys are in your hand! Go unlock the door! And to help you remember the keys, grab my free To help 4 Keys to Escape Overwhelm and Unlock Serenity by dropping an emoji and I’ll send it to you!
